Either Way

A word search in themes from Animals to Winter, with the words to find listed beside the grid. One word is already ringed when a grid opens, so you can see what a find looks like.

Three levels: Gentle runs words across and down, Standard adds diagonals, and Sharp runs them every way, even backwards. The grid grows with the screen. Find the last word and every letter that isn't part of one falls away, leaving your words standing in their rings.

Every grid is checked before you see it. Each listed word appears exactly once, read in any of the eight directions, and no line of letters spells anything from a list of words a public screen should never show.

HOW TO PLAY

Drag across a word, or tap its first letter and then its last. Either end can come first. The button above the grid changes the theme, the level and the sound.

With a mouse, drag or click the same way. There is no keyboard play.

Your best time for each level and grid size is kept on this device.
