Backboard Buzz
An arcade hoop-shoot built to a real cabinet's measurements: a 12-inch rim, 7-inch balls, and the rim 74 inches up. Each basket scores 2. Make three in a row and the rim lights up, and every basket scores 3 until you miss. In the last 10 seconds, every basket scores 3 anyway.
RACE A FRIEND
On a wide screen, the button at the top right puts a second hoop beside the first. A friend takes it by grabbing its balls; if nobody does, you race the machine. The machine starts gentle and gets sharper each time you beat it, and gentler when it beats you.
HOW TO PLAY
Flick a ball up at the hoop. A short or slow push puts the ball back rather than throwing it.
With a mouse, press on a ball and sweep upward.
On a keyboard, hold Space to charge — full power after two seconds — and let go to shoot. The arrow keys aim, Escape puts the ball back, and Enter plays again.
Two at one computer: the keyboard shoots the left hoop, so one of you takes the keyboard and the other the mouse.
Your best score is kept on your device.
